Taught 2nd grade two years in Olympia. Married in February 1968. Went to Germany with Wally for 15 months while he was in the US Army. Taught 1st grade and did our traveling while in the service. Returned to the US in 1969 and moved to Athens, Georgia, where we both entered graduate school. Taught 3rd grade in newly integrated school. Returned to Washington in 1971 for a visit, then moved to Alaska. I’m presently teaching remedial reading at two elementary schools and travel by boat to one of the schools twice a week.
