Spouse:

When Bert and I started dating, I was in the 8th grade and Bert was in the 9th. We went together for five years before getting married August 1964.

Family Life:

Bert and I have two children. Becky is married with two children and Blaine has never married. Our two grandchildren are Aaron, 19, and Brittany, 17. Both of our grandchildren have been very blessed. Aaron will be starting his second year at Notre Dame in August and Brittany will be a senior in high school and is just starting the college application process. Becky was fortunate to be able to stay home with Aaron and Brittany and has done an amazing job raising them. Blaine is in the business with us and is in the process of taking it over.

Career:

Since getting married, I have always worked either outside the home in accounting or here at home running the one man office (ME) for our construction company. I am looking forward to turning the bookwork over to someone else.

Residences:

Bert and I live in Redmond, Washington. When we moved from Leavenworth 11 years ago, we first landed in Duvall for five years and now a retirement community for six years.

Travel:

We are one of the few couple here in Trilogy that are not retired but hopefully, soon. We take yearly trips to either Arizona or Florida for a month but other than that time, we stay pretty busy around home.

Hobbies/Interests:

I love spending time with friend here at Trilogy, and of course spending time with our family is always special. I belong to a walking group and we go on many outing besides just walking. I also belong to a wonderful Bible Study group. My favorite is working in the yard when it's not raining.
