Spouse:

Tom Gray, married 21 years.

Family Life:

Eight step-children, 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.

Career:

Owned a tavern for 25 years. Bartended for 46 years. Belonged to the Operating Engineers for 14 years. Volunteer firefighter/first responder for 14 years.

Residences:

Moved to Grant County in 1951. Have been here every since. My first husband was an avid motorcycle rider and racer. He was a very good friend with Evel Knievel who was at our home quite often. I raced motorcycles for a short while. In one race in Soap Lake I won first place.

Travels:

Traveled to Canada, been to California, Las Vegas.

Hobbies/Interests:

I enjoy going to the casinos now, and enjoy gardening. I used to play pool and was quite good. Raced canoes during the Great Canoe race.

Retirement:

I retired two years ago. I am busier now than I want to be.

EHS Influence:

My typing teacher in Junior High, can't remember her name, and Mrs. Snyder in High School for typing. I was able to learn because they were great teachers.
