Decade of Cars

Kiwanis Field - Ephrata High School Campus

Reunion attendees were treated to a display of automobiles from across the last decades. Members of the Checkmates Car Club and the Columbia Basin Carriage Club joined with local car owners to provide a very interesting showing of the changes in transportation over the past 100 years.     ♦    1938 Plymouth Pickup owned by Bill Robinson,
    ♦    1956 Ford Convertible owned by Larry Price,
    ♦    1947 Ford Sedan owned by Clayton Massey,
    ♦    1930 Model A Ford owned by Leroy Falk,
    ♦    1923 Model T Ford owned by Bill Robinson, and
    ♦    1913 Model T Ford owned by Jim Culler.

During the opening ceremonies Jim Culler provided a 1937 Chevrolet Master Sedan which served to deliver to the ceremony the honored graduates, Bill Robinson and Elaine Daling Porter of the class of 1938.

The display was planned by Karen Nesse Weisgerber and Kris Nesse who arranged for identification poster for each of the cars. Jerry Pitts and Fred Goetz helped with locating and placement of the cars.
