50th Class Reunion

September 14 - 16, 2012

The call went out ... and from far and wide we gathered to share our journey ... and to PARTY!

Friday Evening

The weekend started gently and peacefully, with classmates gathering for a slice of pizza and a drink. Then the old friendships were renewed and the fun began. Once we got warmed up we headed to Kiwanis Field for a good old Tigers football game.

Saturday Afternoon

Saturday afternoon was hosted by Vaughn and Janeen Downing at their spacious gardens. This gave everyone a good chance to exchange stories, pictures, and tell all the whoppers we could come up with. Excellent hors d'oeuvres and drinks enhanced the afternoon. And of course, everyone went crazy with their cameras!

Saturday Evening: KOVE Night at the ERC

Saturday was the highlight of the reunion, with a dinner catered by Don's Restaurant, along with an open bar happy hour, dancing to the oldies, an outrageous skit bringing back every possible bad memory of high school, and again, lots of visiting and pictures!

Sunday Morning

As the reunion weekend wound down, there were still a couple of events to go. With the offer of free doughnuts and coffee, what could have been a chore for the committee turned into another party for all the classmates. Once the cleanup was done, we headed off to the farewell brunch for one last visit before hitting the road.
