Spouse:

Marylin and I have been on an adventure for 47 years and enjoying the fruits of hard work and now retirement. We sold our Ace Hardware store in 2006. After many years of retail hours, we can plan our own lives, not 15 employees, driving us. We are thankful for this new found time in our lives together.

Family Life:

We share the lives of our four children (adults) and their families. Sheila Chilson Berschauer, CEO of Moses Lake Community Health Center; Michael Berschauer, Retail Marketing for Ace Hardware Corporation in Chicago, Illinois; Patrick Berschauer, Project manager for Blyth Commercial Heating and Cooling, Bellingham, Washington; Kathern Berschauer, River Street Photography, Leavenworth, Washington. We enjoy our eight grandchildren and the lives they are striving to design in our fast paced world.

Military Service:

I am proud to have served and wish all could share in our country’s security and protection.

Travels:

We have found in our travels, China, Rome, Ireland, and many parts of the great USA. More traveling planned. There is big world outside of Ephrata to explore and understand others way of.

Hobbies/Interests:

Work, projects, family and time for fun.

Retirement:

Retirement. Now that a whole way of life to adjust to, BUT we are glad to have the good health and means to explore this trip!!

Life is what YOU make it, SO get on with it, It won't last forever. Where did the years go???
